Clarion located just across the river from our dock, is the home of the Autumn Leaf Festival and Clarion University of Pennsylvania. While in town, enjoy a unique variety of shops and building architecture.
Clarion's Autumn Leaf Festival in early October features a celebration of color making it a perfect time to cruise the river and enjoy the spectacular foliage.
Clarion University offers uncounted cultural and sporting events throughout the year. You can book a tour on the River Rambler and attend a university event in the same day.

The Clarion Oaks Golf Course features two unique versions of championship golf, the front nine meanders through a towering oak forest and takes advantage of the areas natural terrain providing a more traditional appearance. The back nine is known for it's lack of trees, menancing winds, wide rolling fairways, and extremely large greens, making it reminiscent of a British Open links course.
The course is located at the the intersection of Interstate 80 (exit 62) and PA Route 68.
Cook Forest features one of the last stands of virgin timber. You can admire this beautiful forest while hiking, picnicking, camping, canoeing, horseback riding or simply taking a drive.
Cook Forest is home to the Sawmill Center for the Arts, which is dedicated to promoting and preserving traditional arts and crafts. It offers craft classes, a craft market and the Sawmill Theater.
Clear Creek State Park occupies a scenic portion of the Clear Creek Valley from PA Route 949 to the Clarion River. The Clear Creek forest comprises around 9,000 acres total, and is named after the crystal clear stream that flows through the tract.
